Lantzville Foothills

Lantzville Foothills

The  Foothills – A community designed to make the everyday extraordinary

Truly of the of the most exciting developments in the Central Vancouver Island region will have home starts begin this fall.  Broad Ridge pass, phase 2 with 26 additional lots will be launched this Spring.

Project Vision

Where is the Foothills located?

Lantzville Foothills Development, Nanaimo - MapThe site itself is a 1838 acre site in Upper Lantzville,, Central Vancouver Island, just north of the City of Nanaimo. It is a highly unique site, with extreme topography (bluffs, gullies, forests, rock, views, creeks etc.) It is the home to both Copley Mountain and Lone Tree Mountain that both stand in the centre of the property.  The location is superb, only minutes away from the quaint Village of Lantzville and the wide array of amenities in North Nanaimo.  Access to the highway to travel north or south is minutes away.

A well planned and designed community:

The development will have a quiet elegance in its contemporary homes and landscape combined with a cozy, safe and friendly atmosphere. The beauty of the landscape will be preserved and will provide a memorable island setting for all stages of life. The Foothills will be dedicating nearly half of the site – 900 acres to the community for a major park. The park is one of the most important reasons why the community has supported this project and it is the cornerstone competitive differentiator for the Foothills. There are no other projects on the Island that can offer such a significant amenity to their buyers. Living in the “Foothills” will be like having nature at your doorstep, the outdoor recreational activities are endless.  For residents it will be a proud place to call home.

The Views:

From its highest points, the views to the north-northeast across the Salish Sea to the Sunshine Coast and the Winchelsea Islands. There are views east to Nanaimo, Newcastle Island and Gabriola Island and even distant views of Mt. Baker. The Foothills also provides views to the south and west up to Mt. Arrowsmith, and into the mountains in the centre of Vancouver Island.

A Part of Lantzville:

The Foothills will be envisioned  as a many-phased development project and as a neighbourhood integrated into Lantzville. It will offer many new housing types that the community needs In order to age-in-place, and attract new young energy and families to supports its schools and economy.

Development Strategy:

The foothills plans to bring on a diversity of types of homes and lots at each stage in order to respond to the many small market segments in the region as well as to support a more diverse social neighbourhood for Lantzville – including small, medium and large homes and lots.

Phase 1: The first 71 lots were released April 2017, major infrastructure construction is underway and these owners will be registering title by November 30, 2018 when the first phase of homes can begin construction.

Broad Ridge Pass is the next phase; featuring 26 new stunning view home sites will launch June 2018. Tours are starting on Sundays, March 11th -to view these home sites. Anticipated pricing will start at $339,000 up to $600,000.   See map of broad ridge pass below:

Sue and Ted Croft said Susan was…committed… knowledgeable…tenacious…honest…kept in regular contact…understood our vision…looked out for our best interests

What we really appreciated was that Susan kept in regular contact with us and provided us with information about the properties and with status updates.

We really felt she looked out for our best interests and represented us in the best way possible. She even contacted an appliance store to arrange for a replacement fridge when the one we purchased didn’t fit.

I would definitely, without hesitation, hire Susan again and recommend her to a friend.
